If you don't know me, 'buy now'..

As you may have noticed, I 've removed the generic 'buy now' buttons from the posts here. One less bit of shameless commercialism in the ongoing holiday season...

Hi Andy,
I quite understand that the exercise has run its course and you've other things to do, but where might one pick up an original version now? I much prefer the brown sleeve to the shanachie release.

charles - yeah, I like the brown & gold too. I still have a few here for anyone who wants one. Just wanted to get rid off those obtrusive 'buy now' buttons...

Andrew: Sincerely hope this finds U & Corrine well this Xmas...Was at Burger King tonite & heard "somewhere in the World" played as an instrumental over their system! Jonathan Butler perhaps, or someone similar. It was great! Nice jazz scene at Hotel Bel Age in Hwd. Lorca Hart & Ryan Cross every Mon. Some of the best musicians anywhere come to play & I've been asked to sit in. So it's been fun. Have discovered that U guys are indeed NOT unknown among jazz musicians - and there are some who know ur mane but hv never heard u. They run the gamit. Am anxiously awaiting new album! - DD

Andy, wishing you (and Corinne!!) a happy 2006 and looking forward to great new output... and live concerts in Amsterdam (Paradiso)!

And erm.. what did you think of my Alone remix? ;-)

Whoops, URL doesn't work anymore. This should do the trick! Alone (Unabridged Club Mix)

Cheers Wilco...I checked out your remix a couple of days ago. Very inventive reworking! Not my favourite genre to be fair but you kept me interested to the end, which isn't easily done these days - good work...

Thanks Andy, that means a lot to me!

If you're interested, I've uploaded an early preview of my "It's Not Enough" remix, which still needs to be expanded, tweaked, etc. You can check it out here: It's Not Enough (Can't Get Enough Mix) - Early preview

Maybe you have some isolated vocals to include in the mix? ;-)

Andy & Corrine: Haven't written in awhile. Really just wanted to say hi so I'll keep it short. Been studying with Doc Severinsen's drummer, & going to hear LOTS of bebop here in LA. Too much to mention. Heard Doc w/ the Phoenix Symphony last Fri. Great orchestra! Getting back into the reading side makes me appreciate you guys all the more. When you have 80 musicians to score for, the responsibility & the pressure must be SO awesome!! Playing at that level MUST be a matter of routine at that point. John Altman is here. I've sat in with him & he told me he's met you. He scores for TV. Uses Ray Brinker alot. Also have been going to Bill Holman rehearsals at Local #47. Heard some news there about Nigel Hitchcock (It IS a small world!)....There's lotsa great drummers in this town (everywhere else, too.). It ain't easy, but fortunately I don't have to struggle like many. Anyway just wanted to say hi. Of course I anxiously await your next tour (Make it, Andy? Please?) & album.
You 2 are so unique & so highly accomplished. What you do is difficult - going to a conservatory would've helped me alot. Going to have strings on the new album? Please come back to LA SOON. Was sorry to hear that Jackie McLean died last Fri. - Derek

Watch subject. Bush and the Republicans were not protecting us on 9-11, and we aren't a lot safer now. We may be more afraid due to george bush, but are we safer? Being fearful does not necessarily make one safer. Fear can cause people to hide and cower. What do you think? Is killing thousands of innocent civilians okay when you are doing a little government makeover?
Our country is in debt until forever, we don't have jobs, and we live in fear. We have invaded a country and been responsible for thousands of deaths.
We have lost friends and influenced no one. No wonder most of the world thinks we suck. Thanks to what george bush has done to our country during the past three years, we do!

Leave Bush out of it. This website is about good music and love. Ny the way, Bush was one of our great presidents. Just takes a thorough understanding of the FACTS is all. To Andy and Corinne....thank Go for your uplifting and genuine heartfelt music. You guys are loved by many more than you will ever know!
